A Regional Center for Sustainability

The Waltham Field Station houses eight different non-profits all working to advance local food systems and sustainability.  Collectively these organizations have an irreplaceable & regional impact.  Find out more about the organizations that call the Waltham Field Station home and the work that happens here by visiting the Tenants and Insider Look pages.

Under Threat of Closure

The Field Station is currently owned by the University of Massachusetts, who have publicly anounced that they plan to shutter the facility Decemeber 31st, 2019.  This puts all of the non-profits housed in the building at risk of eviction.  We are invested in finding a solution that allows these non-profits to continue the important work they do with minimal disruption to their operations.  To find out more about the current status of the Field Station visit the Updates & News page.
